i386-softmmu sometimes freezes when running on Leopard

Description
I've been using Q for a while now to run Minix (downloaded from the Free OS Zoo within Q), but occasionally the window of the guest OS freezes. Q Control can still be interacted with, but the guest OS window does not respond to any interaction.
I'm on Leopard (Mac OS X 10.5) and using Q 0.9.0d89, but this also happened with Q 0.9.0a89.
i386-softmmu is the process that appears to be frozen. I'll attach a sample of this process when it was in the frozen state.
