Kju: Exporting Guest PCs
Starting with Q-0.9.0d77 and above Q can export whole Guest PCs to run on a Flash Drive. You can take your Guest PC with you, plug it into every PPC or Intel Mac and run the Guest PC in Standalone Mode without having to install Q. The resulting file is an application package, so all you have to do is double click to start your Guest PC from the Flash Drive.
You can also reimport exported Guest PCs into Q again. Choose "Tools" -> "Import Guest PC from Flash Drive" from the menu.

Select your Guest PC and choose "Export Guest PC to Flash Drive" from the "Guest PC" menu.

A dialog will appear explaining the process. Click OK to proceed.

You will be prompted for a location to export the Guest PC to. Of course this can be anywhere on your harddisk, not only on a Flash Drive.

Now the export process starts. All Guest PC files such as harddisks, CD-Rom images, floppies as well as the configuration file will be copied into the resulting application. This may take some minutes, depending on the file size to copy.
Note: Don't wonder about Q not being responsible during the process. This is a known issue we are working on. Just Let Q do it's things, it will jump happily in your dock when it's ready ;)

When the export is finished you will see a dialog.

As you can see, Q created an application package with a new icon, a doclication® (a mixture of document and application). Simply double-click and the Guest PC will start in Standalone Mode without Q.

Note: Your Guest PCs in Q are not affected in any way.
