About
This tutorial should help you to install a vanilla Ubuntu 6.10 as a Q GuestPC in 2 steps. You can download the installation CD for free from here. Just so you know, installing Ubuntu is *very* simple. But I had to post this, so people believe and try :).
Step One: Configuring the GuestPC
- create new PC
- choose "Q Standard Guest"
- hit "Create PC"
- in the "General" tab
- give your guest a meaningfull name
- uncheck "Set clock to host time"
- in the "Hardware" tab
- set "RAM" to 256
- set CD-ROM to your downloaded file
- hit "Create PC"
Step Two: Setting up Ubuntu

1. press "Return"

2. Live CD is loading

3. Gnome is loading

4. Live CD is ready, doubleclick "Install"

5. choose your language

6. choose your timezone

7. choose your keyboard layout

8. add a user

9. partition... just go with the defaults

10. and "Install"!

11. copying and configuering will take an hour

12. reboot!
Ubuntu will now boot for the first time.
That's it! And you thought installing linux is a pain ;).
