Windows 95B Network installation
If You don't need the advanced features of the later Windows Versions, Windows 95 is the fastest choice. Unfortunately, Windows 95 does not recognise the Networkcard during Installation. But You can select the corresponding Driver manually:
Installation
During Installation, when asked if a Networkcard is present, check the box.
Network Card
- open "Systemproperties", select "System"
- select TAB "Devices", select "PCI Ethernet Controller"
- select "Driver", select "update Driver"
- select "Yes recommended"
- select "back"
- select "Netwotk Adaptor"
- select "Novel/Anthem", select "NE2000 compatible"
- enter Name, Workgroup and Description
- close dialog, reboot
- enter new username and password
Installing TCP/IP Protocol
- open "Systemproperties", select "Network"
- select "add..."
- select "Protocoll"
- select "Microsoft", select "TCP/IP Protocoll"
- close the Dialog, reboot
Preparing InternetExplorer?
Follow the Assistant. Choose "manual". Choose "LAN".
